Balto
Balto is an on-demand vet consultation app. This app is where pet owners can consult with a professional veterinarian through the use of online chat and video calls.

UI/UX DESIGNThe Problem
Pet owners can come across a situation where they have an urgent, small question about their pets but they have trouble finding the correct and trustworthy information. They want access to information fast from a certified and approved professional during a time of urgency without having to look through and research for themselves.
Solution
This on-demand consultation app would be perfect for those situations where the owner would need an answer to a small question or where the owner is unable to physically pay a visit to the vet. Instead of searching online for questionable answers or trying to reach your veterinarian in the middle of the night, you can use Balto to have a video consultation with an available Balto vet.
User Flows
1. Signing up for an account
Users will need to sign up for an account to start consulting with a Balto veterinarian. Before starting any consultation, their payment information is required but considering urgent situations, I gave an option to "Skip Payment" so they can feel comfortable to explore the app. It is also important to inform the users about the consultation fees before they do so.
2. Creating a profile for your pet(s)
After signing up, they can enter their pet profile(s). They can enter in existing medical information such as conditions or medications. After completing the first pet profile, there is an option to add another or continue.
3. Initiating a consultation
To initiate a new consultation, users can start from the Home page and they will find Start New Consultation. After clicking, they are directed to their pet profiles and can choose who the consultation would be for. Then they would select the areas of concern for the pet, this issue could be digestion, dental, or other.
4. Entering a call
After choosing the type of consultation, Balto searches for the right certified veterinarian for your pet. Their rating and full Information will also be provided.
5. Consultation completed
After your consultation, the screen will show a confirmation and the receipt. The user can also provide feedback, giving their call a rating.
